Emily Cole is a Houston/NYC recording artist, pop/alternative singer/songwriter playing shows in the greater Houston area. She accompanies herself with guitar, ukulele, keys; she plays as a solo artist, as well as a duo with Andrew Smythe. She is capable of performing a show full of original music, a show full of covers, or a combination.
October, 2015, Emily released her self-titled debut album, Emily Cole. Following this, she’s released a handful of singles. These singles, along with a couple from her debut album, are in rotation on several radio stations and internet stations and being aired globally. Two singles are getting extra attention these days: “Two Faced” has been included in “Most Played Pop Music” charts, top 5 in The ETX Rocks Show, charted in top 150 on Digital Radio Tracker, and it placed as a Semi-Finalist in International Songwriting Competition 2017; “If I’m Really” was selected by BWH Music Group for their collaboration album by various artists titled “That Summer.” The album has been released worldwide and has picked up lots of press, allowing for amazing music reviews for Emily Cole. “If I’m Really” also placed as a 2018 Semi-Finalist in Unsigned Only Music Competition. You can find Emily Cole’s recently released singles on AMI Jukeboxes and NSM Music-My Jukeboxes located worldwide. Emily Cole’s latest singles are Karma and Dead Feelings. Most recent news: Emily Cole has been invited to tour this spring with High School Nation. She performed at one of their shows when they came to Texas in 2018 and is extremely excited to be doing a full tour with them this year.
More fun news: Emily Cole has been invited to perform at the International Singer-Songwriters Association Annual Awards Show on August 3, 2019. The 2019 ISSA Annual Awards Show is a red carpet event which will be held in one of the largest, busiest and most prestigious cities in the world, Atlanta, Georgia.
While Emily stays busy performing at shows in and around her hometown, she also loves to perform at festivals/conventions. January, 2018, she traveled to California to perform in the NAMM Winter Show held at the Anaheim Convention Center. She also traveled to New Orleans to perform for Cutting Edge 26, NOLA’a Downtown Music and Arts Festival. She’s performed for the Houston Via Colori Street Painting Festival three consecutive years now; this November she’ll be performing on their main stage. Houston Via Colori is a non profit organization, with all proceeds benefitting The Center for Hearing and Speech, a local non-profit that serves children with hearing loss. Emily has also had the opportunity to perform at the Ovation Showcase, presented by RAW natural own artists. Aside from performing and working her part time job, Emily Cole is spending time in the studio recording original music, releasing singles steadily, with plans to release another ep or album mid-late 2019. She also visits Texas Children’s Hospital quarterly to visit with and perform for the children and their families.
