Pam will discuss the 10 guideposts to Wholehearted living as described in Dr. Brené Brown’s book The Gifts of Imperfection. Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, where Pam received her Master of Social Work in 1996.
Pam has a private psychotherapy practice in Huntsville, TX. She has worked with children and families, the MHMR crisis team, and an intensive outpatient Geri-psych program. She is a clinical supervisor and field instructor. Pam has been an adjunct faculty at SHSU, and has taught dozens of CEU workshops.
Pam is a life-long UU, and current Vice President of this church. She is married to James, music therapist and educator, who teaches guitar in the SHSU Music Department and owns Johnson Studio. Together they produce concerts at Thoreau Woods Coffeehouse and Johnson Studio House Concerts. They have three daughters and nine grandchildren. They love to travel all over the state, the country, and the world.
